Hey :) welcome to my "spot". My name is Cindy Mlekush and this is my fourth session here at Walnut Creek /Chapman. I am a first year SDC teacher and I am on an Internship with Antioch Unified in Antioch, CA. I have a class of 8 1st through 3rd graders. Five of the students in my class are in the Autistic Spectrum and the other three have intellectual disabilities.
When I am not at school, I have been happily married for the last 22 years to my college sweetheart and we have three children, a daughter almost 20, a daughter almost 18 and a boy 14 1/2. We enjoy movies and chinese takeout, watching old favorites over and over and attending church together.
I am hoping to gain some confidence with the computer in this class, that will give me the experience I need to help my kids with presentations and projects that continue to crop up.

Hi, Cindy,
You will learn a lot in this class. However, it will all fade away over time if you don't use it. There is not shortcut to being computer proficient. You just have to spend a lot of time using one, AND doing the same functions over and over. Overlearning is the best way to strengthen computer skills.
Hi Cynthia,
What caused you to get you credential? Have you always wanted to work with children?
